No. 6 Bay Shore Loses a Heartbreaker -
Sixth ranked Bay Shore fell short against No. 11 ranked Lindenhurst, 8-6 in the first round of the Suffolk County Class AA Playoffs. Steve Zolezzi scored both goals during a 4-0 third-quarter to lead the No.11 Bulldogs for the upset. Zolezzi's second goal tied the score 5 with 7:50 left in the third. Bay Shore pulled within 7-6 with a goal at the 3:21 mark of the fourth. Jon Flood stopped 10 shots in the net for the Marauders. Lindenhurst plays at No.3 Smithtown West in a quarterfinal on Tuesday. Bay Shore Responds -
After losing their last game, the Marauders responded by to knock off North Babylon, 17-11 on Monday, May 16th. Bay Shore was led by Seniors Brendan Gaine (six goals and one assist) and Kevin Cox (five goals and two assists) each recorded a career high seven points. The Marauders conclude their regular season with a 9-5 record in Division I. Connor Slane scored five goals for North Babylon in the loss. Sachem North Offense Too Much for Marauders-
Jake Sheets, Kevin Cox and Griffin Rock each scored 2 goals for Bay Shore in their 20-9 loss to Sachem North on Saturday. Trailing 10-2 at the half, the Marauders responded with 7 goals in the second half to Sachem North's 10. However, this wasn't enough to overcome the deficit. Bay Shore falls to 7-5 in conference (10-5 overall).

Bay Shore Controls Cougars -
The Marauders took down the Cougars 17-6 on Thursday, May 12th. Bay Shore controlled most of the game led by junior Griffin Rock who scored a career high seven goals and senior Brendan Gaine also had a career high game with six goals. Bay Shore improves to 8-4 with the victory in Division I. Goalies Jon Flood (5) and Joe Volavka (3), combined for eight saves on the day. East Islip Downs Bay Shore -
The Redmen took down the Marauders, 11-9 on Tuesday, May 10th. Bay Shore led most of the game but EI took over in the fourth quarter to take the lead they would not relinquish. Lucas Rock had two goals and one assist and Kevin Cox had one goal and three assists in the loss. Goalie Jon Flood had eight saves in the loss. Bay Shore Wins in Overtime -
The Marauders defeated Smithtown East, 8-7 in an overtime thriller on Saturday, May 6th. Brendan Gaine led Bay Shore with four goals, including the game winning goal 48 seconds into overtime. Kevin Cox won the faceoff in OT which led to the win and on the day Cox won 12 of 18 faceoffs. Bay Shore improves to 7-3 in Division I. The Bulls held Bay Shore scoreless in the fourth and scored three goals to push extended the game. Goalie Jon Flood recorded seven saves in the net for the Marauders. Scoring: Bay Shore -- Brendan Gaine, 4 goals; Max Sheets, 2 goals/1 assists; Griffin Rock, 1 goals; Kevin Cox, 1 goals. Cox Declaws Wildcats -
Senior midfielder Kevin Cox had a career-high five goals and two assists to lead Bay Shore over Walt Whitman 16-12 on Wednesday, May 4th. Cox and Lucas Rock (2 goals, 3 assists) each had a goal and an assist during a 4-1 first quarter in the win. Brendan Gaine added five goals and two assists and Griffin Rock added two scores and an assist in the win as the Marauders improve to 6-3. Marauders "Gaine" Ground In League I -
Bay Shore improves to 5-3 in league play being led by Brendan Gaine who scored four goals to take down the Lions 12-5. Gaine scored three of his game-high four goals during a six-goal third quarter. The Bay Shore defense held Longwood scoreless in the first half. Longwood goalie Christian Law recorded 16 saves in the loss. Kevin Cox finished with two goals and one assist and teammate Matt Sheets added two goals and two assists. Sheets Scores Game Winner -
Senior attackman Max Sheets had two goals including what proved to be the game-winner with 9:44 left in regulation lead the Marauders over Hills East 6-5. Sheets also had an assist in the win. Netminder Jon Flood stopped eight shots on the day. Ward Melville Remains Perfect -
The Marauder defense could not contain Patriot senior Tyler Hegarty who had a career-high five goals and an assist to beat Bay Shore 12-5 on April 18th. Ward Melville(5-0) is currently in second place behind West Islip who is 6-0 in Division I. Bay Shore was led by Max Sheets who scored two goals. Jon Flood had 13 saves in the loss as the Marauders fall to 3-3. Smithtown West defeated the Marauders 12-8 in a late game under the lights on April 14th. The Marauder defense couldn't stop Kyle Keenan who had four goals and two assists to lead Smithtown West (3-1) in Division I. Brendan Gaine led Bay Shore with three goals and TJ deLyra added two goals in the loss. Marauders Crush Floyd 15-3 -
Bay Shore crushed William Floyd 15-3 on Tuesday, April 12th. Griffin Rock, Kevin Cox and Max Sheets each scored two goals in the first quarter to lead Bay Shore (3-1) to victory in League I. Sheets finished with three goals, Rock finished with three goals and one assist and Cox had two goals and one assist. Jon Flood had six saves and Joe Volavka recorded four saves in the win. Lions Break Out in Second Half for Win -
The West Islip Lions continue to succeed on the field with a 10-6 win over Bay Shore. The Lions remain undefeated at a perfect 3-0 and the Marauders drop to 2-1 in League I. Bay Shore kept the score close trailing by one heading into halftime, but West Islip came out firing outscoring Bay Shore 6-3 in the second half. Bay Shore was led by Manhattan bound Kevin Cox who had three goals in the loss. Netminder Jon Flood stopped 15 shots on goal. Bay Shore took care of business in the state of New Jersey as they beat Madison 13-9 on Saturday, April 2nd. The Marauders were led by Lucas Rock who scored five goals and added an assist in the win. Kevin Cox and Brendan Gaine each added three goals and an assist, and Jon Flood made 13 saves as Bay Shore improves to 2-0 in non-league play. Kevin Cox will be attending Manhattan College, Riverdale, NY in the fall 2011. Cox will play lacrosse for the Jaspers.

Brendan Gaine will be attending the Naval Academy, Annapolis, MD in the fall 2011. Gaine will play lacrosse for the Mids.

Jon Flood will be attending Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, FL in the fall 2011. Flood will play lacrosse for the Dolphins.

Max Sheets will be attending SUNY Oneonta, Oneonta, NY in the fall 2011. Sheets will play lacrosse for the Red Dragons.
