Powerhouse Northport Finishes Bay Shore -
The top seeded Tigers defeated the second ranked Marauders 19-8 in the Suffolk County Class A Finals at Northport. No. 1 Northport improves to 17-2, while Bay Shore falls to 15-4 on the season. Caroline deLyra led the Marauders with three goals and Kyra Harney finished with two goals and one assist. Northport will face Farmingdale in the Long Island Class A Championships on Saturday at 8pm at Hofstra. Second Ranked Bay Shore Wipes Out West Islip -
The No. 2 ranked Marauders advance to the Suffolk County Championship game as they blew out the No. 3 ranked Lions, 13-5 on Wednesday, May 25th. After losing to the Lions earlier in the season (April 7th, 9-16), Bay Shore knew they had to come out blazing and they did. The Marauders held West Islip scoreless in the first half (7-0) and continued to dominate scoring six more goals in the second half. Bay Shore was led by freshman Kyra Harney who scored four goals and recorded two assists. Goalie Samantha Fagone made nine saves to help Bay Shore (15-3) defeat West Islip (14-4) in the semifinals game. Freshman Katie Kirk added three goals and freshman Carly Cox had two goals and two assists in the win. Bay Shore will face top seeded Northport in the finals at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at Dowling. No. 2 Bay Shore Picks Off No. 10 Sachem East -
In the quarterfinals of the Suffolk County class A playoffs, the 2nd ranked Marauders defeated the 10th ranked Flammin' Arrows, 15-6 on Monday, May 23rd. Paige Leggio sparked Bay Shore's offense by scoring the first goal of the game and finished with two. Kyra Harney had a goal and two assists and Caroline deLyra had four goals. Goalie Samantha Fagone tallied five saves in the win. Bay Shore will host No. 3 West Islip in the semifinals on Wednesday at 4pm. Cox Scores Game Winner in Triple OT -
Freshman Carly Cox and senior Catherine Schmidt teamed up for the game winning goal in triple overtime as Bay Shore topped William Floyd, 8-7. Cox hit the game winner as Schmidt passed her the ball at the crease on a two on one fast break with 1:29 on the clock. Schmidt drew the defender, dished to Cox who faked high and hit the bottom left corner in sudden victory triple OT. Due to field conditions the game was switched from Floyd to Bay Shore to be played on the turf. Caroline deLyra had three goals, including the game-tying goal with 2:16 left in regulation and Kyra Harney had two goals, including the game-tying goal with four seconds left in the second overtime for the Marauders. Bay Shore concludes the season 12-2 in second place in Division I. Courtney Murphy had three goals, including the go-ahead goal in the first overtime, for Floyd (11-3). Bay Shore clinched the No. 2 seed in Suffolk Class A. Senior Day Steller for Bay Shore -
The Marauders took care of business on senior day defeating Sachem North, 12-6 on Friday, May 13th. Caroline deLyra led the offense with four goals and two assists and Kyra Harney added three goals and one assist to lead Bay Shore (11-2) in Division I. Schmidt Put Up Career Numbers -
Senior Catherine Schmidt had a career-high four goals to lead the Marauders over Ward Melville, 12-7 on Tuesday, May 3rd. The Maraudes had a one point advantage heading into halftime (3-2) but the offense exploded in the second half to take the lead they would not relinquish. Junior Caroline deLyra added two goals and two assists for Bay Shore (8-2) in Division I. Netminder Samantha Fagone recorded nine saves on the day. Great defense was played by Casey Taggart. SWR Sneaks Past Bay Shore -
The Marauders five game winning streak came to a halt Saturday, April 30th, when Shoreham-Wading River topped Bay Shore 9-8. The Marauders came on strong late in the game to pulll within one but SWR goalie Lauren Daly peserved the win with a saved with nine seconds left remaining in regulation. Catherine Schmidt led the Marauders with two goals and one assist. Kyra Harney, Kaitlyn Arnold, and Katie Kirk all had one goal in the loss. SWR and Bay Shore are both at 7-3 in their respective divisions. Cox Assists Bay Shore -
Freshman Carly Cox notched five assists to lead Bay Shore over East Islip 13-9 on Friday, April 29th. Sophomore Kaitlyn Arnold headed the Bay Shore offense with three goals. Freshman Katie Kirk finished with two goals and one assist in the win. Senior Sam Fagone made six saves for Bay Shore, who improve to 7-2 in League I. Harney Scores Career High -
Freshman Kyra Harney scored a career high in points with seven (four goals and three assists) as Bay Shore beat West Babylon 13-9 on Wednesday, April 27th. Kaitlyn Arnold and Caroline deLyra each scored three goals for the Marauders. Scoring: Bay Shore -- Kyra Harney, 4 goals/3 assists; Caroline deLyra, 3 goals/1 assists; Kaitlyn Arnold, 3 goals; Carly Cox, 2 goals/3 assists; Katie Kirk, 1 goals/1 assists; Catherine Schmidt, 2 assists. Marauders Master Overtime -
After a stalemate in regulation, the Marauders caught fire in overtime scoring three goals for the 13-10 victory over Wantagh. Kaitlyn Arnold, Kyra Harney and Caroline deLyra scored goals in overtime to lead Bay Shore in non-league. Harney scored four goals for Bay Shore. Bay Shore's goalie Dylan Teitelbaum stopped eight shots and Samantha Fagone added two saves. Scoring: Bay Shore -- Kyra Harney, 4 goals; Caroline deLyra, 3 goals/1 assists; Kaitlyn Arnold, 2 goals/2 assists; Catherine Schmidt, 2 goals; Katie Kirk, 1 goals; Carly Cox, 1 goals/3 assists. Voges Leads the Way for Bay Shore -
Sophomore Amanda Voges led the Marauders over Smithtown East 18-9, on Thursday, April 14th. Voges scored four goals in the victory. Freshman Carly Cox finished with eight points (3 goals, 2 assists) in the win. Freshman Kyra Harney finished with three goals junior Caroline deLyra also has eight points with a team high four assists and two goals. Senior Sam Fagone recorded six saves in goal as Bay Shore improves to 5-1 in Division I action. The Marauders chipped away to knock off Middle Country 12-10 on Tuesday, April 12th. Caroline deLyra had five goals and an assist to lead Bay Shore. Kelsey Healy's goal with 5:25 left gave the Marauders an 11-10 lead. Kyra Harney added three goals and two assists. The Marauders improve to 4-1 in Division I play. Marauders Lose Steam in Second Half-
If Bay Shore only played the first half they would have won, but they didn't. West Islip outscored the Marauders, 11-3 in the second as the Marauders took their first loss of the season in a 16-9 shocking loss. Bay Shore led at the break, 6-5. Caroline deLyra had four goals and three assists in the loss. Kyra Harney had three goals and two assists and Carly Cox had one goal and three assists. Fagone Saves the Day -
Senior goalie Samantha Fagone saved a direct shot with one second left to extinguish any overtime chances for Hills East. The Marauders defeated Half Hollow Hills East 9-8 to improve to (3-0) in Division I. Fagone finished with 13 saves. Kaitlyn Arnold, Kyra Harney and Catherine Schmidt all had two goals. deLyra Dominates for Bay Shore -
Junior Caroline deLyra scored six goals and recorded three assists to lead Bay Shore over Commack 15-2 on March 31st in a very cold and rainy day. The Marauder offense exploded in the first half outscoring the Cougars 9-0. Freshman Kyra Harney scored three goals and one assist and freshmen Carly Cox chipped in two goals with two assists in the win. Goalkeeper Samantha Fagone had a shutout in the first half with four saves. Marauders "D" it up in First Game -

Bay Shore defeated Patchogue-Medford 11-4 in the season opener on Tuesday, March 29th. Senior goalie Samantha Fagone tallied three saves in the net as Bay Shore held the Raiders to only four goals. The Marauder offense was led by three freshmen. Kyra Harney had three goals, Carly Cox had three assists and Katie Kirk added two goals. Junior Caroline deLyra added two goals in the win as well.
